£30,234.25 raised by our business and corporate partners!

We are so excited to share that our business and corporate partners raised £30,234.25 through fundraising events and regular donations in the 2023/24 financial year – equating to 623 one-to-one counselling sessions for local young people.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to FINK, Blue Collar, UCEM, Francis Construction, Village Financial Services and BNI Reading Central for raising such an incredible amount!

Here are some of their fundraising highlights, and potential inspiration for your fundraising!

UCEM – Clothes Refresh

UCEM held a Clothes Refresh event where members of their team donated unworn and unneeded clothes and accessories to be sold at a pop-up shop in their Reading office. Items were sold from £1-£2 and any left-over items were donated to Rags to Riches to raise further donations.

Raising £294.50 for No5, with 143kg of clothing recycled and 1906kg of C02 saved!

Francis Construction – Annual Charity Golf Day

Francis Construction’s Annual Charity Golf Day was a hit once again last June.

Teams made up of their partners and suppliers took part in the main team competition, individual on-the-green and nearest the pin challenges and an evening auction and raffle to raise a total of £6,220!

Other great ways our partners have supported us in the last 12 months

Fink Street Food and Blue Collar – Customer Engagement

During our fundraising campaigns this year, Fink Street Food and Blue Collar have both helped with promoting these to their customers at their venues and on social media.

During our People’s Projects Campaign, they both invited us along to engage with their customers in person and secure further votes!

UCEM – Training Space

Throughout the year UCEM have provided us with free training space (including hot drinks!) for our Annual Counsellors Days and CPD trainings.

This has been so beneficial for No5 as we have saved on the costs of delivering our training and given our counsellors and staff the opportunity to build a relationship with the staff at UCEM, further developing the relational side of our partnership.
